I posted a 70 gold missions thread, as the trophy, speedrun, but it'd be interesting to have a new category where you have to collect all gold medals in story and strangers & freaks missions that have one (a sort of extended 'All missions', could be added to the leaderboards as a sub-category for all missions, like standard and gold medals).

Timing starts in the text 'North Yankton...', you must proceed to complete ending C but replaying A and B by mission replay, completing all strangers & freaks missions that are unlocked after the last ending you replay (if all aren't completed previously). Timing ends on the last Mission Complete pop-up or the last input necessary to complete the last ending you have to complete. For verification, scroll the replay missions list for both missions categories or timestamp all the Mission Complete prompts with the gold medal being shown by pressing Square.

The goal would be 11 hrs with unoptimized routes and switches. Run must be done from a newly created save file, creation of file included in the video.

How about people actually do the runs they suggest, instead of trying to look smart suggesting categories no one runs. The run would also be much longer than you think. You need to do 100% to even get access to all stranger&freaks, it would likely be closer to 15hours.

OK that was just a suggestion, that was an idea that came fast in my mind and wanted to share it before it was lost. Most times for 100% are 9 hours so that should be just a little longer than 100% given the bigfoot missions. I haven't 100% the game personally so I should check but I did all there was to do in the map as of 89.9% and found out 30 strangers & freaks missions.

100% doesn't do all stranger&freaks. You have to compare to All Missions. Category has been suggested a dozen of time, no one has ever showed any interest in actually running it though.

I'm already training for the gold medals requirements on the missions I've done (w/o 100%), I should do a (unoptimized) run in these days.

This is literally just a longer more tedious All Mission Run, All Missions is already a 13 hour run, with this gold medal shit its gonna be like 15+, only 1 person runs All Missions so I doubt anyone will run a tedious version of All Missions. Also most speedrun strats do not work when trying to go for gold medals, in crystal maze you wouldn't be able to run past all the enemies, in friends reunited you wouldn't be able to throw all the c4's from your car, bury the hatchet you wouldn't be able to do buffered ledge grab, etc.

How about you actually complete a run before suggesting it?

if an alternative version of a speedrun is a. piss boring and b. doesnt use speedrun strats is it really a speedrun, or a casual playthrough with a timer? theres no point having something like this on the boards
