  1. Yes, that’s perfectly fine.

  2. Depends on the game, check the LBs to see if they separate runs based on console type.

  3. If you wanted to do something other than record directly from the console, you’d need a capture card to capture the console feed and then you can put it into a layout in broadcasting software like OBS or XSplit. But I wouldn’t recommend spending money on that investment until you’re sure you want it. I’d stick with the XBox One App at first.

a lot of moderators will say you have to have splits, but it is accepted. there is no rule stating you need splits. long as you have video evidence and don't break the listed rules your good.

I have read somewhere that it's up to an hour if you're saving to external storage. You can stream directly to Twitch from your X1 though, for a lot longer. Just make sure you have the appropriate settings on your Twitch account so it saves the video.
