Is it normal that you don't get a Spatula from Patrick if you have exactly 10 Socks ? I don't know why that happens but everytime i have to collect 11 to get a Spatula :(
Have never had this happen to me before, so I really don't know a workaround. Does it happen any time you get 10 socks and want to trade?
well i run 16% so i only have to collect 10 socks once .. and with those 10 socks it happens everytime
With 16%, is the 10th sock you collect the one in front of Patrick? If so, just collect it, move away from Patrick until the "Press Button" text box goes away, then go back to Pat and you should be able to get the Spat.
I'd collect it early in the run so you don't have to deal with it when going to Goo Lagoon.
kinda reminds me of a little thing that happens in spyro 2/3 speedruns. there's this guy "moneybags" where you have to pay him a certain number of gems: 400/500/1000, whatever depending on the scenario. if you're collecting the final gems as you start talking to him, his dialogue is already made up as soon as you start, so even if you have enough when you get to him, you have to give him a chance to re-read your game totals.
