So I was trying to learn any%(no ACE), but I don't really understand how to beat 1st form of final boss without magic powder. Can someone explain me in greater detail when and how am I suposed to sword him?

There are two methods for killing the blob with the sword.

First method involves just charging your sword to the left, line up vertically with the wall, and then line up at a horizontal pixel. as shown in this video ( fast forward to 3:11) This method works depending on when your started to charge your sword, i havent found a 100% consistent way of doing it, yet.

Then theres the spin-and-slash method: I, personally, have never done this method, but apparently, it works. (fast forward to 8:10)

Personally I've always used the method Leon used in his video.

It can be pain in the ass to get sometimes but you will get it.

So when you fall down don't move just mash the text and charge the sword. When the blob reaches the top of his jump and starts to come down release the sword and walk up and charge sword again. It'll take a few goes to get but you'll get it eventually. :)

edit: You can always collect the Mushroom from the Forest and use that in the Blob fight and it'll kill him straight away... but obviously that'll waste sooo much time :D
