Baby Skip?

I know that there is a way to slip past baby after getting the fuse so you don't have to run back to the bedroom and hide, but I'm having some trouble pulling it off consistently. About 70% of the time baby either insta lunges and I die, or baby decides it would rather not lunge and just follows me in the kitchen and I... Die. Seems like it would be a pretty large timesaver so what could I do to pull it off with some consistency?

Honestly i have no clue done it twice without knowing how to properly do it but succeeded i'd suggest checking out spicetv's run as he seems to do it a certian way sorry if this isn't much help i'm honestly too afraid to properly practice this skip but i still use it

I would check out guides on youtube. Plenty of runners in the discord have made videos about it. There are different ways depending what hardware you are playing on as the fastest way requires you to switch to 30 FPS.

Trigger the baby and run back to the door. Line up just behind the door (you can look at the door hinge for a visual cue) and face forward. Go to 30 FPS. Listen to the baby steps and time the run carefully between the fourth and fifth step - the left foot is going to leave the steps and just as it halfway through the movement you want to run (pause buffering helps with the timing). There are a few videos on discord, try to pay careful attention to the audio and visual cues.

Sorry for not clarifying, I'm on PS4. No fps switching for me.

Oh well that sucks, you can still pause buffer which might help.

Best and most consistent method I know of which is also the fastest afaik:

You can use this method on PS4. It is super easy.

This is how I’ve been doing it and I find it to be the easiest and most consistent method. After a little bit of practice I never die anymore. You just have to line yourself up with the wall and the table until you can’t move forward anymore. Then just wait for the baby to crawl at you. I usually use his left arm (right from our view) as an indicator of when to go. When I can see it, I run to the kitchen. After he attacks, you can walk right by him.
