I've wanted to make an autosplitter for this game for a while and decided to actually do it about two weeks ago. I've written it in python. You can see the source here: https://github.com/Skytso/diablo_3_autosplit
It captures the screen in certain regions and compares it to an image for whichever split you're on. When it finds the matching image, it splits using the Livesplit Server component. Since it doesn't read the memory, this is not against Blizzard TOS so you can use it without fear.
Now I need help testing! If you're interested, visit the github, download the zip, and run Diablo 3 and let me know how it worked. I'm active on Discord and will be working on this off and on all summer.

@chopsicles I think Skytso has stopped working on the autosplitter for now. It is broken in its current state unless you have unlimited RAM.
I do have unlimited RAM (well 32gb)... but if u say it's broken then I won't bother. Thanks for the reply
