I stumbled upon this manual a couple years ago, initially thinking it was for DemonStar (SM and SM2 are two separate games that came out later, I never tried them). If you go to How To Play > Powerups and Bonuses, you'll find nice icons for all the things you collect as you play. This is where I grabbed the medal icon and used it to make icons for the 1st three places on here (2nd and 3rd place ones are just edits, not legit).

This manual used to be on Mountain King Studio's website but can't be found there anymore. I'm thankful to whoever preserved it.

I also have a manual file that I found with my v1.1 demo (when I was a kid, my father made a disk and saved it on there, we've kept it to present day), but it's in HLP format so it can't be viewed in modern versions of Windows, and it's missing Magnetic Pulse and Mega Laser.
