Should/Can we uncap the framerate for PC runs?

So recently I've found that wrong warp a trick commonly used in Spyro 2 any% to start the run is interconnected with framerate. If you've seen any of my Spyro 2 runs you'll know that my conversion rate for this trick succeeding has always been extremely low.

However while just trying anything to make my conversion rate be a bit higher I found no success with overclocking my pc. But I found that on uncapped I was able to wrong warp successfully at a conversion rate that out of ten attempts it only failed once.

Outside of potentially this one trick I see no benefit that would make having "better" hardware worthwhile to run on uncapped when running any category. Not to mention the pause itself is actually much harder to get first try, but you can still get it relatively easily with buffering the pause.

Yo Dylan! I know you're mentioning this for accessibility to wrong warp in SRT2, but can I ask you for further investigation into run performance for higher framerates across the whole of SRT? This is definitely something that we can look into now that the PC version has been out for long enough now, but I know there are little weird artefacts for extreme frame rates, be it low or high.

For examples: Extremely Low allows for rediculous jumps (not to mention game looking near unplayable):

Extremely High allows for random spyro sliding (cant find clips but you will hear many accounts of this) and extremely high fairy proxy:

I believe that in SRT 3, in Sparx levels, you deal more damage to bosses while charging them the higher your FPS is, being one of the major reasons the FPS was capped in the first place back when game came out on PC. Other than that though (and the wrong warp mentionted here), I do not believe there are other benefits for uncapped FPS (and more problems, like sliding on the floor and potentially cycles)
