Keeping movement speed

Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone has tips or an idea of how to keep movement speed up? Have seen some runs, especially in House Beneviento where movement speed seems way higher than usual or I can get it.

Any tips or ticks will be helpful (I do NG+ Glitchless PS5) Cheers!

For Beneviento house, right after u enter it, u wanna go out of the house a little bit and straight back in, the game get's confused and allows u to move at full speed until u reach the elevator.

If there are any other specific places u are thinking about, feel free to ask

I've seen someone do the whole basement though and the speed seems to be running faster than normal which is why I thought was a way to keep speed up through the whole house.

It might be possible the person you saw was simply playing at a higher FOV. At a higher FOV it falsely gives the appearance that a player is moving faster than they might be at a lower FOV despite them going at the same speed.

Definitely could be what Lyon said. As someone who plays on base FoV, I can confirm that seeing people playing on higher FoV really seems like they're considerably faster. Brains are fucky.

They were also playing on PS5 though same as what I play on so it wouldn't be that

Netherlands

Have you gotten the movement speed upgrade at the Duke?

Finland

I mean if you think you've seen someone run faster on ps5 during basement, post a vid in here of the case. As far as i know there is no way to increase your movement in anyway during the basement section.

Hello. In the newly approved video, it looks like it's moving fast over the snow. When I see Ethan's shadow, it doesn't move, and it seems that I'm hitting the move key repeatedly, but when I actually tried it, it didn't happen. Do you know anything?

Hi. New tech was found yesterday. If u tap w at a steady 130 bpm ish, u will move fast in the snow.

so basically this is only for PC?

@Cross_X_Check im unsure if it works on console aswell, u can definitely give it a try, but i've heard it's a lot harder to do there. Basically it requries u to hold ur sprint button down while tapping forward at a steady pace of 130 ish bpm.

@nicowithaC I was able to actually do it. Thank you!
