Confusion

Hello, i've taken a look at the leaderboard and i'm really confused :

When selecting 60 FPS variables for showing runs, 120 FPS runs shows up instead (if i'm selecting 60 from the second FPS option, as the first one just hides every run... actually, why is everything showing up 2 times ?).

The rules asks for Livesplit to be on screen, yet it seems pointless : runs never mentions RTA at all (as in, it's not shown anywhere, all that matters seems to be IGT).

Any chance the leaderboard could be fixed ? Its a huge mess atm and it's making looking for strats (other than NG standard) very difficult.

ATM, last I checked, there is only 120 fps runs. So filtering out 120fps will give zero results. Leaderboards seem to be working as intended.

livesplit is to help mods. Just a thing to help make sure the runs are clean.
Leaderboards seem to be working as intended.
E-Excuse me ?

All the options are showing atleast twice, one of them shows nothing (so i guess that's the correct one if there's no 60 fps runs), and another one gives wrong results.

How is this "working as intended" ? Do you mean to tell me this leaderboard is messy on purpose ?
livesplit is to help mods. Just a thing to help make sure the runs are clean.
Ah alright, that kinda makes sense, actually.

What wrong results? When filtering fps theres 3 options. all fps, 60 and 120. All filtering correctly. Do you mean something else?

honestly not sure how that can be missed

Because its nitpicky. The first fps selection works fine.

it's not nitpicky : i wanted to filter by FPS, i saw 2 options, which didn't make sense to begin with. I started with the first one.

Then after the first option didn't show anything, i though it wasn't working properly and tried the second option, which gave wrong results.

This is bad and confusing leaderboard design.

The leaderboard was put together hours before the mods started taking runs to verify. Im sure its not final. Knowing the first option works fine, but still dwelling on the second option is a bit nitpicky. Sit tight and let the queue die off abit and Im sure they will work on the little things.

I'll sit, but considering the RE2make leaderboard has something similar, i doubt it'll be changed. Hopefully someone will prove me wrong.

And yeah, i guess now that i know there's actually no 60 fps runs, it is nitpicky, however before you replied to me i didn't know there wasn't any, which was surprising to me, because back when RE2make came out, people were doing both 120 and 60 fps (also to be fair, i'd rather run on 60 fps because of my PC, and i couldn't imagine no one else would do the same).

Since 60 and 120 isnt separated by category only through filter theres no point in limiting your fps to 60. Even if you cant hit a consistent 120 you have a better chance to be higher on the none filtered board with higher fps. Noone not actually running 60 will filter out 60 so its kind of pointless to limit yourself to 60.

Im sure theres some current "120" runs on the board that should be 60. Should have separate categories for 120 and 60. Or just have 120.

Also theres a tutorial stickied in this forum how to make a low end pc run at 120. Should check it out.

This isn't our choice. It's the way the Variables are designed and setup on this site. You create two FPS variables to fit two categories. Any% PC, and Any% NG+ PC. Therefore, the FPS variables both show up in the Filters. It SHOULD still filter correctly when picking 120 or 60 in either category.

I noticed when separating the console NG+ runs by the filter "console type" you need to use the 2nd one on the list to actually get it to work. I assume it will be the same for the FPS filters so use the 1st one for NG and second one for NG+

Why are we using filters and not categories anyway? Like RE2r for 120/60FPS and like RE4 for Ps4Pro/XboxoneX and PS4/XboxOne. This needs to be voted by the community somehow.
This isn't our choice. It's the way the Variables are designed and setup on this site.
Tbh i'm pretty sure there's a way to make this look a lot cleaner, leaderboards have evolved a lot, we aren't as limited as years ago.

it isn't split like 120/60fps runs like on RE2R

makes a disadvantage to be honest.

if it helps still waiting for my 2 runs to show on the leaderboard since an hour after submition was allowed. they got a lot work to do.

but for now since im unable to beat 52mins looking at this run of 45m35s really insane time diffirence a whole minute by the power station unsure if its me running more steps etc.

@xDrHellx No, there isn't. I don't really know why you're trying to convince me of such, when I am the one looking at all of the variable options that the website allows me to utilize for this games board.
