After the last rule change from May 30th, 2023 the runner @Akuma_apn has brought forth some compelling arguments as to why the run should start "on the first frame of the first active screen of the game (after the title screen)" (see here). As a consequences, the timing rules have been adjusted and—unless absolutely necessary—will stay this way from here on out. The rules on the leaderboard have been re-timed to reflect this change.
