I don't have a disc copy of the game but I have a wii and a usb loader would be slower because i'd have to repeatedly open the loader every reset and of course use the slow wii calendar change thing. If I submit the run as a wii emulated run would that be not okay. Either way i'm planning on buying a disc soon but I was just wondering. this question is probably really dumb.

Pokemon Speedrunning rules state you must have the entire window of the emulator in the recording and you can't do that with ISO loader. So no, I don't think you can, sorry ;-;
