Over the next few days or weeks I will be willing to go through TOK again on a new file to test any theory that anyone has. Reply to me with them and I will get back to you when I have attempted them. Please try to keep them in chronological order in terms of the story.
That’s awesome! I am also glad to try any skips on a new file, as I was planning to do it on my own anyway. Some theoretical skips include a way to jump from the pile of cans to the pier in the dry lake in the Blue Streamer segment to skip a cutscene, and a way to get around the not-so-bottomless hole in the fire vellumental temple with a fire bro on a chest to the left, to skip a fire bro fight.
I will try my best to attempt those once I get to those parts, but for now Im looking for theory crafting on chpt1. Don't hold me up to it though, you never now when someone will beat me to it Kappa
In the Earth vellumental Temple, if there was a way to get up to the mouth (the entrance to the boss fight) without needing to go around in to the other rooms it could save a lot of time...
(Minor update, but surprisingly Olivia lets you pass the vallumental shrine after the koopas run off, meaning you can go get the shell stones before going to the shrine, saving a little bit of time) (Edit : The pillar that is inactive because of the NBH is skipable with a well timed jump from the highest pillar)
you can basically skip most of the needed and optional islands, you need to advance to the green streamer with these: Bonehead Island, Reason: If you want to get the 5000 gold coins upgrade for the engine, you'll have to, yes do this island so the fog can be cleared, and the engine upgrade I was talking about. Moon Island, Reason: Continuing On, you can use this island for the handle for the house from mushroom island, and a note from Luigi. Mushroom Island: yep, Luigi, Luigi, Diamond Key, Book, Origami Craftsman, Luigi, Luigi, Luigi. Diamond Island, Reason: Ice Vellumental Bibliofold And Three Orbs After That You Can Complete Sea Tower And Go To Shangri-Spa
