Is the sound and the game sped up? If so, you might have sped up the game itself.
I apologize for my rather blunt response above, but Eddie's point is correct. However, no one is stopping you from creating a discord server and making your own leaderboard. I did the same exact thing a little over a year ago when me and about 6 other people made a server for "Beat 1-1 as star mario runs". I do have to admit that the category idea is unique and the genie code is interesting to play.
Jumping at the bottom of the flagpole and hoping you get good subpixels to clip in
If you do this with -1 in minus world ending, you get similar results. I seem to recall you also get random firebars and a couple of bowsers as well.
@KilleDragon the reason that the mods don't allow emulators like that is because the emulation itself is not accurate. The current emulators that are allowed are the ones that simulate NES gameplay the closest.
yeah for some reason AIISON is the correct code for nestopia. I don't know why, but this code works.
@KilleDragon did you even read roopert's post? He literally provides solutions to both of these issues.
Yeah learning fpg for fun is what I did like a year ago. It was really satisfying to do, and it prepared me for low 457 attempts. I would like to agree with @Darpey though because these is no real use for it until you have a decent 457 time. Good luck on your endeavors!
As of right now, my 2020 goals are:
- 456 smb1 any%
- 757/756 smb2j any% 8-4
- Sub 20 smb1 warpless
- 232 minus world ending
- 44.4xx 8-4 IL
I have definitely surprised myself this year. All I put for my 2019 speedrun goal was sub 5 any%. As of the last day of 2019, I have a 4:57.360 and am closing in on 456. 2019 has been a great year for speedrunning and I can't wait to see what speedrun times I'll get in 2020!
Isn't this just happylee's setup? He found this over a year ago.
That is really just a way you can play warpless. People already do this all the time. For example, kosmic did small mario runs when he started warpless. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=NVJ8bey1KfA
I can confirm that the Nestopia code for aisson is aiison. I've used it before.
