In the first bowser, there is a star in a box by the tilting platforms. When you grab the star it will play the key cutscene and crash the game.

Could there be a sub-category for this?

07235 is impossible cause 1 star in rainbow ride spawns in a block and is unobtainable

If you haven't put the memory size to 8 MB in the settings configure for the rom that might be the reason why. if its not it maybe its a bug with the version of pj64 your using.
