Check the submission rules for something explicitly forbidding it. But even if it's not banned, it definitely would be better to include a proper RTA run, since that's what the leader board is for

Well most people use the original console because they exist and they've had them for years. And they can also use a livesplit timer because there's this thing called a capture card they can use to output their console to their computer. Or they just record their console by pointing a camera at it. Not that hard.
