For any given game it's likely that the leaderboard will either have a guide for glitches or a Discord where you can ask for help.
I don't have the footage still but I did once rocket myself to death while attempting to lower my health at the end of a Doom episode 1 run
The problem is, with the current rules, runs don't need to be verified by anybody.
As a 360 player I would support IGT for full episodes
Already answered on Discord, but for anyone else wondering the same,, Ihaven't tried the 360 digital version though I assume the load times should be better than the disc.
If you do have a disc, install the game to the 360's harddrive to cut down loading times.
Although loading times don't affect IL running, since we use the in-game timer for that.
Yeah chrome on android is not perfect but it's good enough tbh
No SR50 in the 360 port I'm pretty sure, I'm fine with it staying here though
I'd say use video or screenshots where possible to demonstrate tricks, but basically Liv nailed it.
Was on PB pace in Perfect Dark Zero a while back and then it softlocked on the second-last mission
Ok, we should be live at https://discord.gg/F5Zdyy6
Sweet, not sure if I can do it on mobile so might have to wait a day or so but leave it with me!
I run the discord for Perfect Dark Zero so I could set one up for TP no bother if you'd like, yeah :)
I wish I could play on PC, unfortunately my only computer is a winXP machine actually from that era lol
A Discord server is a good idea, it's the best way to share new stuff people have found.
I will hopefully get around to doing some full-game runs myself but with only the console version available to me I feel my time is also better spent trying to find some skips (I did spend an ungodly number of hours trying to find a way to bypass the start of level 2 and did break out of bounds once but could never replicate it)
Since I should be able to record my 360 again soon, I've been practicing this game again and I noticed the PC times that have been posted.
It seems that the PC version has the advantage of not running like ass lol, plus there's some slightly different movement tech and loading times are drastically reduced - this in itself leads to some neat tricks like checkpoint reloading.
So my point is this - should we separate PC and console times? To be clear, I'd suggest PC be the main category with console being a variable or subcat. Obviously I'm not a mod so it's just me thinking out loud, but I feel that it's a fairly common practice.
What does everyone think?
Perfect Dark Zero. I can see why it didn't get the attention that Goldeneye and PD did, but a little more competition would be fun.
Mass Effect and Fallout games mainly for me
