I gotta say, I'm incredibly disappointed with Sonic Mania. The level design is complete ass. There are loops and slopes littered all throughout the stages, often causing the player to go incredibly fast. Heightening this critical issue are the springs and boost panels all over the place. I am absolutely outraged. This goes against EVERYTHING the Mario franchise stands for and is almost as bad as the time Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric made Sonic about platforming and completely strayed away from the series' roots as a Pac man clone. I should have expected this though, as this is one of those games where the trailers reveal WAY too much. If you still (for whatever reason) are interested in this game, avoid the trailers. They give so many spoilers, like the cameo appearance that Sonic makes, and the fact that the game is in the style of the Atari 2600. Avoid Sonic Mania at all costs, lest you want to remain a virgin.
