Does playing on a flat-screen give me a disadvantage?

Wasn't the reason, most use CRTs because of the minimal lower delay with it compared to a regular flatscreen (because there it depends on the built in converter)

CRT has almost no input lag, while flatscreens will almost always have some input lag.
