Using a mine can still get rid of the first set of guards out of the way before Jack stops to shoot. My original intention was to save the rocket for the last set of guards at the top floor, but when the one of the two guards on the bottom floor didn’t come out I just had to use it there, which is probably what saved me time since Jack didn’t stop running.
