Normal it's impossible to make it up this link (https://imgur.com/a/vhVXDZR) on level five, this forces you make three speret links. I found a way however to make it up the steep link by repeatedly removing and attaching the link while spamming left. I've yet to complete this at normal speed but by slowing the game down its possible.
Haha nice finding it. Doesn't seem to be faster though. I briefly compared our both runs on level 5, takes around 7 seconds for both us. Can possibly be sub 6 seconds if we're efficient in timings. Seems like this shortcut is about the same time or slightly slower.
I've just tried doing it, but failed. How fast are you even spamming it? What do you mean you slowed down the game?
I used cheat engine to put the game at 0.25-speed, the trick is to keep the player's torso above the link. I've got about half way up at normal speed
i was able to replicate it with the default game with drag clicking but it is crazy slow can this be used in other lvls though? my guess is it takes 20 cps to do with a non slowed down version
Ok so I found this node glitching. Haven't tried on other levels yet, cause I barely managed to replicate it. No idea yet how to do it other than spamming.
i can get the glitch to work 50% of the time i think this could be huge you should make a glitch catagory
just finished a fully glitched run 7:05.5 could be sub 6 but i suck. The consistent glitch is to drag to where you want and then click fast enough for it to place down. Its hard but can save SOOOOO much time

But obviously, if you submit runs to the glitch category, make sure your run is faster than the current 1st place in any% glitchless.
ok just got a 6:42 with glitches but i will record my gameplay next time. I use a mac so its kinda hard to find things to use lol
(btw the only way i can do this glitch consistantly is to drag click so if you have a mouse that can't drag its kinda unfair i dont know what you want to do but keep that in mind)
