How to Succeed in ZiS, Without Really Trying. All By Yourself. (w.i.p.)
Zaktualizowany 6 years ago przez ShadyPineapple

As a friendly reminder, it's cheaper money-wise to play this on console if you want to only play a couple maps here and there and do not intend to play DIRECTOR'S CUT. Playing on Console means you can get the game from $5-15, and then Each DLC MAP is about $15 plus tax. If you just see yourself playing Rave in the Redwoods and Zombies in Spaceland, it will be cheaper on Console as you can buy the maps individually. If you are playing on Steam, I hate to break it to you, but you have to fork out the $50 for the Season pass even if you only want to play one other map than ZiS. Thankfully, Buying a physical copy of the game for PC and putting the code in on steam is MUCH MUCH Cheaper than buying it for $60 off steam.

And Now! for the Guide!

WARP ZOOOOOOONE: [WZO]

Here's the Handy Dandy Things to type into your Ctrl+F (or Clover F if you're on Mac) Search Bar, when you want to find a specific thing! WARP ZOOOOOOONE!: [WZO]

How To Get Money, Without Really Trying (too much): [HTGMWRT] Scope Them Dollas: [SCODO]

For Starters, I will be using these Abbreviations: [ABRV]

For Locations-

Cosmic Way -> CW (The Main area including Spawn, The Portal that Leads to Pack-A-Punch, and the only available Play area during Alien Boss Fight) Journey Into Space -> JiS (Main area, First door on the left when you approach the Cosmic Way Portal) Keplar System -> KS (Area With the Green Crocodile Alien thing, Right of the Cosmic Way Portal) Astrocade -> AC (This is just the Arcade) Polar Peaks -> PP (The Area Behind the Cosmic Way Portal.)

For Perks-

F&F Guide [F&FGUI]

Relevant Fate Cards:

Scoped Dollars: This Card Gives you a Bonus 300 per Kill with a "Sniper Rifle" Though the game doesn't have it listed under Sniper Rifles, the M1 (notably at the beginning of the map) Counts. Normally the Card is going to give you a set 3000 Bonus. But that's if you do One Kill per bullet. Aligning Zombies in a train to get their heads in a row allows you to get multi-kills that only reduce the usage by One. (Ex: You could kill One Zombie and get 300 for a use, or get a triple Headshot and get 900 for still only one use) This method on Round 2-3 is quite useful for opening up the map and getting BS as soon as possible.

Irish Luck: Though regarded as a Fortune Card on other leaderboards due to RNG, This Card allows for many insane possibilities. Being able to be used as ANY Card in the game means that you have a chance at using a fortune card you don't own, or don't want to risk wasting so you can have a little spice added to your run. I personally use this card in Slot 2 so I can get that fun RNG out of the way. (Note: If the random card is already in your F&F pack, it uses that card instead. This means that it also cannot Repeat the card used for example, if you refilled your F&F cards, this card can't activate the same exact card it activated in the prior use.

Relevant Fortune Cards: Though One could say -ALL- Of them are "Relevant" (except the Skull Hacker card, unless that's what you want to do) The Most Relevant Ones are as follows (For ZiS)

Packin' Heat: This Thing Is Crazy. It can be Super Amazing, or super, erm, Still cool. Worst Case Scenario, you get a Jank Rifle that's Double Packed, still good, but not fast enough for ADS. Best Case Scenario would be along the lines of an LMG (the Titan, or an equivalent) Fire and Brimstone would be Nifty to get as well, but I have not tested the card extensively to see what is, and is not possible to get off this card (Future revision will have this detail). Basically this saves you 15000 points, and gives you a double packed weapon before it's even possible to do.

Black Friday: This Spawns a Fire Sale Power-up. This means you can go at the Weapon wheels for 10 each roll. Ideally you'll be in a spot where you can roll as many wheels as possible (Notably in Polar Peaks, there are 2 Weapon Wheels very easily next to each other, this increases your chances of getting the gun you want (or the Axe if you're a Headsman Fan like me)).

Explosive Touch: This and Jugg -I mean TN, Mean that essentially you'll not have to worry about zombies hitting you. this is notably important for the Alien Fight, as he spawns a lot of them.

Packed Magic: I mean, Wheel weapon gets packed for free? Score! Saves 5000 Points and a use of the PAP. Being a Legendary card rather than Epic also Immensely helps for crate Drops.

Honorable Mentions for F&F Cards: [HMF&F]

Any of the Weapon Cards: Getting Railed is free because it's Fate, but honestly A double Packed weapon, or even in most cases a single-packed weapon will be sufficient enough to get through this mess. That being said, You can still use them in place of any of the weapon upgrade cards from earlier.

Power-Up Spawn cards (other than black friday): Death's Party, Kabooom!, Shop Class, Nade Party, Pay Day, All the Ammos, Raining Bullets; I believe there is much potential for Raining Bullets, If you have an itchy trigger finger (more helpful on PS4/XBONE than PC in most cases) in tandem with a wonder weapon this could make the Alien fight easier, The only WW that seems to benefit from that Power-up is the Forge freeze (you can freeze everyone).

Perks! [PKS]

Tuff 'Nuff: Hooray for Juggernog. This is a must-have if you don't want to accidentally die from surprise zombies bumping you.

Bomb Stoppers: One of the most important Perks. "Why? It Only prevents explosive damage..." Ah yes. Like Gas Grenades (counts for explosive), Baby's Breath//Fire And Brimstone (they are literally baby cannons), And I'm sure there are plenty more uses.

Quickies: This one lets you save your own tail if you need to reload with a lot of zombies around (Like if you have Bomb Stoppers + Baby's Breath, and you gotta reload before 5 Zombies Kill your run. Quickies will save your hide so you can spam the ground in front of you and not die.) Used in Tandem with Blue Bolts also helps in a similar situation.

Blue Bolts: Reload, Shock surroundings, fire a bullet, reload. Lots of fun there.

Up 'N' Atoms: In Single-Player, You will want Perk Insured if you plan to use this perk. Because if you actually get this perk and use it, you'll lose all of your other perks anyway. If you are in a later round, you'll die almost as soon as you re-enter the park due to low health (You lost your TN!) The Upside however, is you get to keep your guns in SOLO, Whereas in Co-Op it costs Money based on how many players are in. This perk also changes to reviving others faster instead and that still requires Perk Insured to keep your perks. Usually you don't need to pick this Perk up (3 Uses per match mind you) because it won't Help you out THAT much in later rounds. There is a chance that if you need it in an earlier round (Like 10-12 when the Brute spawns and you don't have too many perks anyway) I'd say go ahead and get it.

Trail Blazers: Cool, but unnecessary.

Mule Munchies: If you feel the need to have a Third Weapon (Baby's Breath, WW, and A third weapon) I'd say your safest bet in case you get downed is to get the WW AFTER you get the MM. (Doing research to confirm if you can retrieve it for 'free')

Racin' Stripes: You'll want this so you don't accidentally slow down and become devoured by the hoard. This is very likely to happen if you don't keep moving.

Slappy Taffy: Cool, Higher Damage on Melee (replacing the Bowie Knife) but Super unnecessary for Speeding through this.

Bang Bangs: This + Baby's Breath is pretty dang great, In general this will enable your guns to work much more effectively on higher rounds, at the cost of half your ammo use.

Wonder Weapons and how they decide your first few doors of the game: [WWS]

There are 5 Wonder Weapons on this map. Four are WEAPONS OF ROCK (Dischord, Shredder, Head Cutter, and Face Melter) And the other Being the Forge Freeze. Which One you want will determine 3 things: What Door you Open Second/Third, What Coins you are looking for, and whether or not you have the patience for tedious tasks.

For ALL OF THE WOR: You need to open the Astrocade anyway so you can buy those cool Gold teeth

You need to buy an Arcane Core for each individual WOR

You'll need to Put in 3 Specific Coins in a spot on the map that coordinates with the image on the coin

You need to get the battery for the gun

You need to kill X Zombies with a Specific Trap found where you put the Coins in (Generally)

And you have to have decent enough reflexes to get in and out of a Croc Mouth before it shuts on you.

The Forge Freeze: The easily obtainable Wonder Weapon. [FORF]

To Obtain this Cold-Hearted Beast, The First Door you open will be Journey Into Space 1, Followed by the Astrocade Door (2250 Points total)

The Forge Freeze Costs 500 Tickets, The easiest way to get this done is to Start up NEIL on round 1-2, granting you 70 tickets, then heading over to the AC (completing NEIL's Challenges in the process if you'd like, gaining more tickets.) The AC has a few games that give you many tickets a try: The ZOMBIE DASH Game is much easier with a controller (or a Low-DPI mouse with a Keybind for Shooting the gun). To Guarantee 100 tickets every play, just aim the reticle at the center of the target, and spam the fire key/trigger, rather than holding it (eliminates recoil).

RINGS OF SATURN BASKETBALL: Super easy on PC, just wiggle the mouse to make sure the ball's trajectory is gonna land in the hoop, most of the time you'll get MAX tickets (105, unless there is a way to get 120).

Cryptid Attack: You Basically just gotta guesstimate where your reticle is aimed to hit all the teeth in.

Black Hole (something): When Activated (Time This!) the game drops a marble down into a slot determined by where the chute is aimed. Max of 50 Tickets a try for this one, but can be played several times.

Congrats! you now have 500 Tickets and can get the Forge Freeze! Unfortunately, you need a Weapon of Rock to actually finish the Easter Egg, but this gun would be cool to have if you really want it!

Time to SHRED: [SDDR]

For this bad boy, you're going to want to open the Kepler System First. (and turn on the power) You'll need 3 Red Coins (because Mario ain't here) With the face of the Spaceland Mascot on it and put them into the Prize Machine next to the KS2 Door (You got the correct one if you got the Brute Doll) Go through the Door up top that leads to the drop off towards Polar peaks. Wait around for the Chute ride to go by, once it does: See that little black spec on the back of the boat? Dead center, top part of the back? (using a weapon with the TROJAN Sight makes this a little easier to see) SHOOT THE BACK OF THE BOAT WITH A GUN THAT HAS A DECENT FIRE RATE (to ensure you hit the stupid battery off the boat) go get the battery at the fountains of keepaway Congrats, you got the easiest battery of them all.

Now you gotta wait around for Round 10-12! Hopefully you've been picking up those souvenir coins! (and entered Pack a Punch Once) Then You go get that bad boy Brute in the Croc's jaws, and you put in those gold teeth, and SHOOT THE FOURTH HOLE (Makes the Ruby appear) Grab it and Run down into the maintenance basement to find the cardboard cutout for the Shredder!

DisChord is outta sight! [DCHOR]

Second Easiest WOR!

For this bad boy, you need to get those Shades most people don't care about. You'll Need One of EACH Coin, and they will go into the Prize Machine Outside the Arcade (Same alley as Blue Bolts, And one of the possible spawns for the Magic Wheel)

Why do you need them? So you can get the battery for the DISCHORD!

Cutting HEADge: [HCUT]

Head Cutter

Opening the Ark of the Covenant: [FMELT]

This Stud is A Three-Piece Alien Summoning Machine! Which Three Parts?: [SECOM]

To Begin this Excellent Start of the Easter Egg, I will note that Only ONE of the SetiCom Parts will show up in the Cosmic Way per run. this Means if you see any of them there, You'll know the other two cannot be there. I will also note that if the Calculator is in the Kepler System, then the Boom Box will not be there, and Vice versa. (I believe this also applies if the Umbrella is in Journey Into Space, or if the Calculator is in the Astrocade, or the Boom Box is underground, But I'll do more testing). NOTE: The Seti-Com can Only be created after you have released the alien ships from the Projector room (Pack a Punch), the round after you release the ships AND have all three parts.

The Calculator! [CUL8R]

The Calculator Will be in one of Three Spots when the game starts:

I. When You Approach the main Portal in the CW, There is a Yellow Bench you will walk past if you go around to the right when you approach NEIL, The Calculator will be laying on the edge of the bench.

II. When you open up the Kepler System, go through the Crocodile's Mouth, up the stairs and do a SHARP U-Turn to the picnic Benches, The table closest to the concession stand will have the Calculator sitting on a bench. (Provided the Boom Box did not appear in Kepler)

III. The Final spot the Calculator can appear in is the Astrocade! When you enter the AC, Turn on the power if you want, then go up the stairs by Rings of Saturn Basketball, then go down the lane that has the Magic Wheel. There will be a Blue Garbage Bin after the gap in arcade machines. That is where you will find the Calculator laying on top of the bin.

The Umbrella! [RIHANNA]

Here's where you can prevent precipitation from painfully piercing you:

I. If the Calculator and Boombox have not Spawned in the Cosmic Way, The Umbrella will be laying on a bench at the bottom of the giant slides, parallel to the PP Bridge.

II. The Umbrella can spawn in Polar Peaks (The default location when the game is freshly installed) laying on the prize counter, next to the un-boardable window.

III. If it's not there, it's in Journey into Space! Go through JiS2 (the Barricade by the DJ Station) And go over by where the first activation button is for the trap! The Umbrella will be laying down diagonally on the floor next to the switch.

The BoomBOX! [BASS]

This Box is WAAAY Too powerful. Keep in mind that this is NOT the one that can drop for Three coins in a Souvenir machine. Here's where it is: I. When you open the barricade to the CW, go LEFT and DOWN. You'll see a yellow popcorn cart, right behind it is the boombox! (which means the calculator and umbrella will be somewhere else)

II. Head into Journey Into Space! instead of going into JiS2, go down into the Maintenance basement. in the break room with Racin' Stripes, if you look on the counter next to the sink there will be a giant boombox! (this means the umbrella will not be in JiS2*)

III. Head over to Kepler! Go ahead and open Kep2 directly to the left, and head up to the power switch! When you turn on the power, go ahead and look on the counter, on the other side of the wall from the power switch. Hooray! the Boom Box is yours!

How To Get Money, Without Really Trying (too much): [HTGMWRT]

For Starters: Make sure that by the end of Round One you have opened the first barricade, AND purchased the M1. You will need to be at least Level 7 in IW Zombies and have the Scoped Dollars Card in your inventory. To Make sure you have exactly enough money for this do the following: Buy the M1 Turn On the Power Fire one M1 Bullet and Melee EACH Zombie, for Round One it's okay if one bullet hits two zombies (you'll receive 20 points vs 10) Because it doesn't mess up Health and Killing Rhythms. Each Round Ups a Zombies health by '8' For Round One, it takes 8 Kendall 44 Bullets to kill the zombie (Max, 6 Minimum depending on where you aim on their body). When you get Eagle Eyed activated, switch over to the Kendall 44 and fire 12 bullets into a zombie, then melee. Once you have Scoped Dollars activated, this is where it gets fun...

How to Scope Them Dollas: [SCODO]

Scoped Dollars has 15 uses, Eagle Eyed has 50... If you hit a zombie, it takes a use off of each (if you used a sniper). But what if you hit TWO Zombies? It still only takes one use...but gives full benefits.... This means that if we had 5 Zombies in a line, the minimum amount of points we could get is 60 per zombie, with increasing amounts per zombie hit by the bullet, + 300x. (5 zombies means 60+120+180+240+300=1000 body, 1500 Scoped dollars) 2500 minimum. Well damn, what happens if they are all head? 100 per Z, (100+200+300+400+500 = 1500 body, 1500 Scoped Dollars) total of 3000. From one bullet and 5 zombies. This means that if you have both activated by round 5, you'll have all the doors open on the map, and have the seti-com built, and have the chance to PAP a gun all by round 6.

*Finally, Let's Get it Started! [INHAH]

Let's start with turning the power on and getting the M1

1Shot+Melee all zombies, open left door.

Check for Seti-com piece, then get NEIL Operational

Round 2:

Do NEIL Challenges as you see fit, open First door of your choice (I'll Use Keplar for this guide).

Get Cash, open Power door if you can.

Round 3:

Use Eagle Eyed. Switch to Kendall 44 for now.

Rest of Rounds:

Get F&F built up, use Scoped Dollars. Get Cash Monies.

Get 3 Coins and get your toy for the WW

Get 600 Tickets (Plus 150 extra if you feel the need for an ammo reload)

Buy Gold Teeth and Arcane Core for Kendall 44.

Open all of PAP, PAP the Kendall 44 and trigger the Alien Ships in the corner across from the PAProjector

Get the Seti-Com from HasselHoff

At the start of a new round (before 8) train zombies over to Chromosphere, have it suck up 20-30 zombies to begin the sacrificial sequence.

Buy Bombstoppers

Kill enough Zombies to get the Flame Core.

Round 10-12:

Get the Brute to smaaaash the croc's teeth out, replace with gold teeth.

Shoot the Fourth box with your flamed Baby's Breath.

Get the Ruby

go Downstairs (Astrocade Side) and place the three objects, replace the M1 with the Shredder (If you'd like to buy Mule Kick and have a second PAP'D Gun, such as the Titan).

Make sure you have Gas Grenades or Cryo Grenades...and any necessary perks you want....

SetiCOOOOOOOOOOOOMPLETE Now we hit up three locations for the Seti-Com to be placed. one in Keplar-side, One in Polar Peaks-Side, and one in JiS Side.
