I posted this in the introduction section but figured it was more relevant here.

I'm new to speedrunning and have found a couple games I'd like to get into. I've been thinking about combining actual running with speedrunning. Something like do a 5k as fast as I can and jump right into running a game. I'm just assuming this is a dumb idea but I figured I would put this out there to see if there's anyone else running games that would find something like that interesting.

5k = 3 miles

why would you speedrun a game immediately after running a 5k

I personally like the idea. Running a 5k and then speedrunning a game after seems fun. It combines physical skill with skill in a game. It probably doesn't appeal to most people, but I do like the idea.
