Pokémon Sword Any% - Ninetales+Candyfloss route (good for beginners or practice)
Updated 4 years ago by Retrotato

This run uses Vulpix/Ninetales and switches to Candyfloss; an in-game traded Cottonee/Whimsicott in Hulbury (Where Nessa's gym is) with fixed 15 IVs in all stats + Modest nature.

A good alternative from the many stat-resets you would typically have to do for Sobble or Arcanine/Excadrill, but will not be faster with current strats (and probably will never be), but with the majority of Ninetales being runnable and having fixed stats/nature for Candyfloss (Whimsicott), this run is a lot safer, more simple and consistent to do. This is good for learning/practicing the basics of the game, for people not aiming for a top time (this can probably get 4:05 with an amazing run) or might not have enough time in their day to potentially reset for good stats.
