I've been considering speedrunning pikmin but, I can only do a run through an emulator as I have no means of recording it otherwise.

emulation is banned for times below 1:20:00 because original software should be used for high level times. it is not banned above that threshold because it allows new runners to try it out before spending money. you can still do runs however below 1:20:00 they just wont be on the boards.
