I've made a guide on Steam that contains all known skips, glitches and techniques that are useful for speedruns, as well as on which update they work.

Unless mentioned, these glitches are the famous "major skips".

Could we please get a glitchless category? I know it's possible to beat all of the glitched WRs by going back in updates but that's really frustrating in my opinion.

Originally we thought that there weren't enough heists that were concerned by glitches and thus an indicator would be more than enough.

However when making the guide I've realized that about 20% of all heists are affected, and thus glitchless times often fall behind. For someone who visits the site, it may be annoying not to separate glitched and glitchless times, and I know it is frustrating for a lot of runners to no longer be able to beat an old glitched record.

Still, it can't really be added due to the individual level nature of runs, as it would double the amount of categories..

Damn, so many categories to submit runs into... You should separate PC and Console while you're at it as well.

This only shows that unfinished (still being developed, changed and receiving new content) game shouldn't be speed ran. :D

Your last point is definitely true. But when the game is finished being developed we'll be able to add full game and contractor runs for those asking for them.

Yup, you will have to submit up to 4 times, this is a work in progress though, but anyway even if you forget to submit in some categories or mess up with all the tags we are here to correct that. Eventually there will be an any% leaderboard where faster glitched runs obsolete slower glitchless runs, then the glitchless leaderboard. The major issue is that you can't use these categories to filter the main leaderboard, you have to check a specific level. I'll ask the admins if it is possible to filter that way.

I won't add a console category for 2 reasons : eventually new gen console versions will be the same as PC versions, at least regarding heists and major mechanics, and just like there aren't enoguh glitched runs, there aren't enough console runs. (If that was a joke, excuse me, I'm waking up).

No, the Console and PC separation wasn't a joke. Maybe there are not that many runs yet, but they can just be empty. There are not that many glitched runs (there should be precise explanation in the rules to what is considered a glitch and what is not. Can there be a glitchless run with a major skip or is the major skip considered a glitch?) and yet the category is there.

For now, glitch pretty much equals major skip. There can be few adjustments, like Minigun speedboost becoming a glitch while it is not a major skip, and kicking which is a major skip being allowed in glitchless category. Anyway this will be common sense and if something needs to be clearer, we can edit rules and the skip guide.

Regarding console, I still think it is unnecessary. Console version, while updates are not the same, don't have exclusive features or glitches, at least that matter in runs. Console version runs at 30 fps and lower though, however it doesn't affect time but rather just the game's difficulty. Unlike in the tournament version, there are no framerate requirements here so it is fine. If you wanted to, you could submit a run with cops not even moving because the game is running at 15 fps. It would just feel off to add an artificial category which would be totally empty.
