There was a recent patch that came out for Outlast 2 that added a"Story Mode"difficulty, which is an Easy mode of sorts. Enemies are far less aggressive and in some cases removed entirely on this mode,so I want to propose 1 of 2 things:
-
Making Story Mode the default difficulty to run on instead of Normal.
-
Making Story Mode a separate category, most likely as a misc. category. That way, people can still run on Normal mode if they want to.
In addition to enemy encounter changes, the story mode patch also added 2 new collectibles. This makes any 100% run before that patch invalid, which could cause problems with that category's leaderboards.
Those are just my proposals, but I want to get everyone else's opinion before there are any changes to the leaderboards.
I say just make story mode the norm for running any%, no need for another category.. as for 100%, if the new collectibles are only on "story mode" then just make running 100% on normal as the default, but if the extra 2 collectibles are on all difficulties well then that causes some problems.
Sounds good. The 2 new collectibles are on all difficulties
There's a recording of the pile of bodies in the Satanas Inimical Dei building right before Marta 1,and there's one of a body in the mine cart right after the first enemy encounter in the mines.
As if anyone's going to still run this game LUL
There's now a variable for you too select when submitting to the 100% category. You have to put what version of the game you're playing. It's faster to do 100% on the May 10th 2017 patch instead of the current version of Outlast 2.
The autosplitter works on all patches, and if you don't know ho
