Came across this glitch by accident at first on Insane Mode. And at first, after some frustration, I thought it was a game breaking bug. Then it happened a second time. I was wrong. I then realized that it was a skip and I skipped the generator section completely. After I thought of a theory, I tried it and did it AGAIN next try. After this I was told that this has been heard of before, but no official video evidence. Here is a video to show what I am talking about:

Isn't it actually a game breaking bug? I was only getting it after dying and starting again without re-entering the Insane Mode

Glitches that need to be activated before the run are not allowed. I'm pretty sure this is one, like you need to do something on another run, then reset and next run it works.

I have no idea what happens there but I have my doubts. I'm gonna be real here since I think it was caused 2 times in a row because the game wasnt reseted or something. I really dont know but I have a feeling that there is no consistant way of doing this. Also what Finath said, that's another reason.

This is indeed a glitch, but not for speedrunning. I remember on my first ever Insane tries (not speedrunning, just getting the achievement) I had to re-enter Insane and watch the cutscene again 'cause if I died, the buttons just wouldn't work in the basement. Or I just glitched into the lever room so that I don't need to reset
