100% Requirements

Hey all, I'd really like to try and do/optimize a 100% speedrun of this game. I assume that 100% means filling out the ship's log, but can we 1. Set a standard definition for a 100% run and 2. Maybe make a list of all the locations/logs needed so we can start optimizing?

As far as I am concerned for the run i made you need to fill out all the ship logs. and record every singal with the signalscope (Tentatively not including the one in the eye of the universe when you drop in because i am not certain if you can actually read that one) I have a full list of all the things needed to do to get every ship log that i will post in resources. however i am pretty certain that for many writings you don't have to actually read the entire wall but only certain passages from each. i have not tested this i have only recorded each wall/ receiver, log that needs be read wholesale. so there is a lot of optimizing to be done on what EXACTLY needs to be read for each log.

Cool cool. Relatedly - do we know if there are any situations where multiple notes can provide the same logs?

The only ones I'm sure about are in The Ash Twin where there are about the equivalent of 5 walls that you can also find in different places and that summarize the history of the ATP. Also I just tried on a few walls and yes, as expected you don't have to read the full wall to get a ship log.

you can find multiple projection stones in different places however sometimes reading certain projection stones in different places will give you different logs. for example the timber hearth projection stone will only give you the full log if you read it in hollows lantern. at least that is what iv'e observed. i may be wrong.
