Selling up to reach £1m?

Yo, been running the million pounds no ffd this week, i saw in one of the guides it was recommended to start selling up when you near the target to push it over the edge. This seems kinda eh to me (and i didn't do it in my runs) as you're not really 'making' that money.

It would be good to get a clarification that that's either legal, or i'd propose disallowing it via a condition that you can't have a positive balance on 'new vehicles' at any point in the run.

Also i'd love to have a £1m category starting in 1980, the variety in trains and the increased inflation would make it a quite short and fun catagory!

About selling vehicles I think it's valid to be allowed. I feel it creates a dynamic giving a speedrun face. Everything for the goal.

I agree that there is a category that starts in the 80s, but it has to be more debated about which year we would start.

Yea since then I’ve started selling up, feels weird but speed lol. Yea a year that would have a good balance between plane/train revenue would be really cool.

having done a couple runs selling up to £1mil creates a fun dynamic of trying to determine the optimal point to stop transporting and start selling. A bit of a gamble on a run. I like it imo
