Fast-forward considered harmful

In OpenTTD, fast-forward means "run the game as fast as possible", which depends between computers. I think this is bad for speedruns as it means the run is faster for people with more powerful computers, which is unfair.

I propose that either fast-forward be forbidden from runs, or that runs use in-game time instead of real time, which is sped up by fast-forward.

Thoughts?

I agree. I think we should at least have another category without fast-forward.

Saxony, Germany

Add a non-FF category, that would be okay for me.

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

I just made a FF run, new WR! But I didn't fully understand this category, in the end I showed what I removed to make the FF go so fast.

And would be realy nice a 1M Pounds in-game time

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

To achieve a no FF, is just don't use it?

Merseyside, England

v 1.11.2 by default has FFD capped at 2500%, maybe standardise the ffw percentage time or version.
