The Easter Egg thing isn't a big deal, I just figure with so few collectibles it's one of the few (the only?) way to extend the game a little bit.

Timing is supposed to start when you click 'play', in CerealGaming's run the timer starts well after that. :)

Which version are you guys using?

Emulators run at different speeds than the console version, making it unfair. Perhaps the question should be, why isn't there an emulator only category? I get the feeling this has probably been asked before, but I'd still be curious to see the answer. I do plan on getting an actual console again so I can run the game properly, but in the meantime I'm with you on emulator.

I suspect it is because of how optimized the game is for console, and the huge amount of categories for the game. Some games auto-hide emulator runs in the same category, but here it wouldn't make much sense given the difference in times. Making an emulator only leaderboard for all these tracks and circuits could be an absolute mess.

On the other hand, I think that having at least some form of limited emulator categories could possibly bring MORE people to move into the actual console running. There is a thread here for supporting emulator players: https://www.speedrun.com/wr64/thread/cpxhn

To clarify, is editing this file the main glitch that's causing such crazy fast attacks in the glitched categories? And that's allowed, right? Just want to make sure before I start running with it.

Same. I really like the game (Krazy Racers) a lot, it might be my main game-- so I think it could use some rules posted. I don't care about being #1, I just care about things being fair and not racing against a busted fast emulator :)

Hey while we're here, I notice you're on the Konami Krazy Racers boards too, I posted in the forum there that the #1 time (beating both of us) in the first cup is using an emulator that runs waaay too fast, so we should both actually be above them in the ranking. Not a huge deal but just in case you care too :)

I noticed you're (RobotDefault) not playing on an english version, but in the english version it's beginner/normal/pro :) just to clear up any potential confusion.

I think the full game run is too long, and 'perfect hand' is way too short. How about adding a "Stage 1" category? So, the timer would end as soon as you complete stage 1? Something like that. I love this game but neither of the categories interest me.

Thanks for posting this. I had mentioned the jumping over enemies to JamesPlayss previously but I wasn't able to determine if it was repeatable because my laptop performance is so crappy (I'm taking a break from running this game til I get a new PC in january). I'm glad to know it's repeatable! :)

So those with not great PCs are definitely at a disadvantage on this one, try to tune down the settings as much as you can to remain competitive.

Of course have fun and just enjoy improving your own time anyway, but don't get frustrated if you can't catch the top time. :)

Not a complaint, just a curiosity: I wonder why there aren't categories for the individual cups like most (all?) other kart racers?

I don't know why they were set up in the same category as they aren't the same at all. I will try to examine the mobile version and make IL (individual level) leaderboards for them if it becomes necessary, but for now IL is pc/web only.

It's already fixed :) Should be fine. If someone else wants to add you I don't have a problem with it, but I think there's enough mods for now. I'm on the site every day so it should be okay
