its because the score and coin count as well as coin flash can overload the games memory and cause weird stuff to happen

Yea. The tas gets lightning with bottom blazit. This is also because l+r is allowed making fast accels faster. The faster accel if you want to call it that.

I do always find it weird how vc runs are slower because of framerate but it dosent work the other way around. Makes sense though

get an upscaler and also a composite cap card. im an emu player but some of the console players might be able to help you with the best ones

odd question. not 3d as in the sense of the 3ds but all sprites and objects are 3d models. doom uses 2d sprites but quake has 3d models. i guess doom isnt really 3d with that perspective because of the 2d models. is that what you meant? if so than sm64 is really 3d

If your trying ro find the vc release its a .wad file and not an iso. Wad files work on dolphin and a modded wii but there is no way to play to game on an unmodified gamecube

i believe emudeck runs a version of mupen64. so probably not.

im sure the 1-2 floor clip could be done in a run but im not sure it is sub-pixel dependent or how the exact mechanics of it work. you could ask Miniland. hes one of the only top runners who plays on pal to my knowledge.
