It is a good idea, but the game is still being updated and this is a potential feature that might be added, will probably have to discuss the possibilities there.

Well this isn't exactly an announcement is it? And it has been discussed informally on and off in the discord recently, plus as you know there are certain people who would see forum posts here, and not see discussions happening in the discord server. I'm just really curious to see if anyone disagrees here and this is a good place to solidify those arguments and come back to them for future discussions.
I guess this is basically a petition to change the IL timing from the mess that it currently is, to timing from one load till the next, like is done in full runs.
Kinda curious what peoples opinions are on this, how many are in favor of this being a thing? The only real downside imo is the amount of re-timing effort required.
Going to necro this super old thread because it gets a lot of views and we have now figured out what actually causes the contingency softlock (or at least I am like 99% sure, and it never happens to me when I do this.)
Basically, if you enter the forest section and trigger the btr to start shooting while you are detected/while people on the bridge are still alive, then this causes the softlock which you cannot detect for another 3ish minutes. So you must make sure all enemies in the beginning area are dead, not in last stand, and wait for prices dialogue about not being seen before you progress into this section.
Find your config file in the players folder of your mw2 install directory. Add this line: [seta thereisacow "1337"] no brackets, but quotes are necessary. Then add two more lines [bind x "devsave quicksave"] [bind x "loadgame quicksave"] change x to whatever key you would prefer for each command, then make a save before checking your target layout and if you like it, load that save.
Due to repeated instances of cheating, the moderators have decided to implement a blacklist. They reserve the right to blacklist specific players who have intentionally violated the rules several times (cheating and other exploitation). They will inform you when you become one of these users, and you will receive warnings for this. They are not obligated to inform the public as to who is on the list, only the person themselves will be contacted about it. If you are added to this list, your runs will be pulled from all leaderboards.

People who get super tilted over losing one of their world records, I'm certain they never felt any remorse for doing the same thing to the previous wr holder.
@Liv He has me blocked on steam, and none of the other runners have talked to him in years, its more about the fact that he doesn't want to be contacted.
I'd like to request super mod for myself or Phantom on modern warfare 2, Lo1ts is the only one, and has been inactive since 2015, and is uncontactable; and I would like to be able to get some new mods on this game before i lose interest too.
