That is what I was thinking. After you inset the mirror the achievement/trophy does not appear for another 3 minutes and 20ish seconds after Shenhua's poem.
While this time doesn't add anything to the category it feels silly to end timing before you are actually credited with the last one even though there is no future inputs doesn't seem right. But again, just my opinion.
Thanks for adding the categories to the leaderboards!

There seems to be some interest in this category so here is a detailed post with everything known so far. Shenmue II has a total of 27 Achievements on Steam/Xbox or 28 Trophies (Extra is the Platinum Trophy) on PS4. These are consistent across all platforms of the game and add several interesting changes from current categories on the leaderboard such as playing all arcade games, learning 15 combat skills and winning 5 arm wrestling matches etc.
Essentially how this would work (and is working in other communities like Dark Souls) is that you would start a New Game and obtain all of the Achievements / Trophies in one sitting, splitting when you obtain them all.
With this in mind, I have been working for the last week or so on routing this category and what the best path to achieve this might be. Obviously, once you obtain an Achievement/Trophy you can not obtain it again on the same profile, but we have several options available to work around this and to guarantee that runs can be validated.
For PC/Steam - The Windows application Steam Achievement Manager by gibbed can be used to remove already acquired achievements on your Steam profile, making them obtainable again.
Download - https://github.com/gibbed/SteamAchievementManager/releases/download/7.0.16/SteamAchievementManager-7.0.16.zip Guide - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=414461578
For Console - You can create a new user profile to regain Achievements/Trophies that you have already obtained
Every category needs rules - Personally, I think we should not allow any runs without visible progression to show that all of them have been obtained (This involves capturing the game in Window mode instead of game mode with OBS if running on PC). While this can be a pain I would prefer this as it would be the most accurate.
Of course, we are a community and everything is up for debate.
For example, while running on console versions you can obtain Achievements/Trophies on an unpatched game (v1.0/v1.01) etc. But on PC/Steam you have to download an unpatched version and replace your patched game files in the steam directory to achieve the same result, which may be questionable.
That's all I have for now. Feedback is welcome and appreciated
Manged to stream today and finished a run of TR5
Still lots to improve and in this PB I failed a skip which cost me 2 minutes, another 3 or 4 minutes can be easily saved by not playing badly in the late game
I think 1:25 - 1:30 is a safe estimate as I will have this time below 1:20 soon
Be Gentle, It will be my first time
Hi,
Tomb Raider 5 is my game
Haven't really had very much time to stream in the last few weeks so I have been unable to stream a full completed run. I was about to PB yesterday but the game crashed on me near the end.
Anyway, just letting you know that I am still actively practicing this game and that due to IRL obligations I have no entry on the leaderboards for the game
These were my splits before the game crashed, as you can see I was on pace for about 1:20 or so which would be 10 minutes below the current estimate. Might be able to stream and get a PB uploaded before cuts but just thought I would let you guys know that I am still interested in running this game at ESA
Thanks
I plan on attending, my twin brother will also be coming (He has already bought his own ticket). Just have to iron out a few details
I voluteer myself for any/all tasks, if you still need a game for me to run I am sure I can polish TR2013 that I had planned to do at ESA. Let me know if you have any detaills.
Q: Me and my bro plan on sharing a tent, I assume he will have to pay the PerPerson charge?
Thanks
So yeah...
Because of all you wonderful people who watched, subscribed and took part in this years marathon, we once again have some twitchbux ($229) as a side effect.
Once again nobody has any clue on what to do with it. So I am open to some ideas on how it can go towards the community etc.
I currently keep the GTA community's mumble running, so if it is ok with everyone I can use some of the funds to cut the cost of providing this service, like I did last year.
Outside of that feel free to suggest anything. Maybe we can help a community member with the cost of going to ESA? Or just donate it directly to ESA?

Unfortunately I will be starting a new job on the 29th, so as much as I would have liked to I will not be able to attend this year. Sorry for not saying so sooner but the employer was unsure of start dates and all that jazz. Have fun all! I'll miss you all and will try to get in for next year.
I'll be watching from home this time, Shoutouts to S
I see someone has beat me to this. I was actually going to make a topic on this soon.
If anyone wants to be apart of organizing the next marathon then you should let us know.
I was actually thinking about May/June & October/December to maximize the amount of people that can actually take part, as there was some complaints last time. But it's nice to see that others wanting to get the ball rolling.
It's far enough away that we don't have to rush things. But yes, it is a community channel so when the next marathon will happen is up to you guys. I will do my best at making the next one happen. Right now I am pretty flexiable on dates
What we do need however is people to host the actual stream. Me, Eidgod, Zoton and Raven did it last year and it was just too much. We were doing super long shifts and waking up at stupid o'clock so the current host could get some sleep. It was kind of exhausting and it burnt me out for about a week after.
Zoton did a really good job with the layout last time, if you need advice feel free to ask him, sure he won't mind. Oasiz is a wizard at the tech side of things too. I can help with the schedule and as well as contacting people about their runs, keeping the team page up to date/dealing with twitch side of things/ideas/cut process etc
Shoutouts to pretty much everyone for being flexible and keeping their slots last marathon.
Finally, when's Chaos 100%?
P.S I still have some GTAmarathon runs that need to go on youtube, but my computer hates me. If someone else wants to try then send me a message
P.S.S Me and Eidgod hold the keys to the twitch channel, if you need something updated or feel if you can improve on anything let us know.
I had a blast last time, let's make it happen again! (no AVAST updating voice this time, promise) gtaTyr

Not that I run the game but a race is a race. You get to your goal as fast as possible.
You didn't see people doing Cone Crazy in old Shakedown races in VC (not exactly the same I know)
It should be up to the runners but if you go for a mission that is not necessary to complete the goal you are just wasting time. Should be without by default and special mention in the title if you are going to have them.
I see the problem with going on with the run after the race but why should the other people who are not going on have to suffer.
Just going to give a quick shoutout to everyone who was involved. If it was streaming your own game, to joining a race, to commentating a run or even just joining us for the MTA at the end. It was nothing without you guys
Yeah, I wouldn't worry about it. It's not like it was a close race anyway :)
