I cant connect 2 Controllers to my Nes :(

Hi there, I recently bought an everdrive and a second controller (an unofficial one) for my nes, I wanted to play the SMB1 2players hack with a friend, but my controllers dont work when both of them are connected, I can connect the first (any of both) and it works, then i connect the other one and it seems that it pushes select and start for no reason, and then, does not allow any Controller to work. Does anyone know why this happens?

United States

I don't know why it happens. i clean and restore consoles and I would use 91% isopropyl alcohol and a toothbrush if you don't have any your pharmacy should have it. Just dip a toothbrush (preferably unused) and rub it against the controller ports if it doesn't do anything let me know!

Hi, thanks, I already tried to do it but it doesn't seem to work :(

just in case, i guess the second controller work alone as p1 when you connect it on port 1 right

Does the player 2 work alone?

Colombia

Yes, I already opened it, when I connect the Player 1 or P2 controller only, it works, but when I connect the other controller, both of them stop working

All I can think of is the controller

England

i use 92% because thats what my local store has

United States

I would get a 1st party controller and see what happens

The video is not a link so I can't click on it

I'm sure 92% is fine. Do you clean consoles or something?
