Are you really not allowed to save your game more than once and still have your run on the leaderboards? In the rules it says 'when you make your one and only save'. Ive never seen something like this on another game. Am i getting that wrong?

Also there's absolutely no benefit to saving in a single segment run anyway and it'll even lose some time for that matter so yeah, it's basically just to guarantee no one can even try to pass off a segmented as an SS

No point in making saves when you have Retry Checkpoint and Continuing after a death anyways!

Making multiple saves has literally 0 benefits when doing a speedrun of this game.

Saving on a speedrun, makes about as much sense as an ashtray on a motorbike..
