Thanks to blacklev for the tips on the car bomb strat. In the end I chose the strat of arming the cars while staunton was locked so the tunnels were accessible from shoreside to staunton. I armed 2 glitched rumpos and placed an extra one near the van in case the explosion wasn't big enough.
