I have been trying to figure out new glitches the past week or so because I am trying to figure out how GenericSkid got a time of 3 minutes and 26 seconds. I haven't found a game breaking glitch that obliterates the competition, but I have found one that is more like two glitches into one glitch.
So, I call the glitch 'Super Dash Jump' due to the fact it uses Super jump and dash. You super jump and dash at the same time basically, this will give you some more height, and mostly depends on how much fuel you got in your dash. I found this glitch works mostly on corners for some reason. I don't know if this is glitch has already been found, but I didn't see it in guides, so I figured it hasn't been seen.
Also, I wanted to ask a question, anyone have an idea on how GenericSkid got a time of 3 minutes 26 seconds, like as a full run of the game?
Yeah the guide needs to be updated/revamped, I'll need to update it at some point considering it was a rough draft from like a year ago, that is a somewhat known glitch and I've seen it used in a number of runs like in borkva's runs, and skid most likely just cheated the leaderboards, I'm not sure how lol, one of the runs even has someone as #1 with zero seconds
I may have found a new glitch...Like it kinda looks like a megajump but I'm pretty sure I got a crap ton more air and I don't think it is. Watch this short vid and let me know what you think.
When it comes down to superjumps and megas it's all about the velocity of the jump pads (apart from the whole jumping), and horizontal jump pads need a crap ton of boost to boost you horizontally to wherever it's intended to put you, giving you that much more jump potential, but damn dude if you could replicate that that would be tight. That's a huge skip and so far I've only seen one other time someone's used a horizontal pad for something like that in one of Nrrillinthas's ILs, definitely run changing potential those horizontal pads are
If people are gonna be using horizontal pads for these kinds of boosts it brings up the question.... What the hell do we even categorize it under? Because it gives more boost than the actual mega for that level, but it is technically a super jump.. I think I would have to categorize that in with mega jumps, considering at heart megas are meant to skip entire levels, and that right there did it better than the current megajump for a glitches allowed run
You have a super valid point. I mean if abusing these pads become a norm then it really kind of defeats the purpose of the NWNM category which is by far my favorite lol.

The one in the video imawakka just posted is a mega jump, not a super jump. It's not super well-defined, but I think it counts as a mega jump if you have significant vertical speed when hitting the pad. He falls into the pad from a reasonable height, so it's a mega jump.
That sounds fair to me. I shit the bed super hard on the rest of that run lol. Otherwise I would have played with the idea of submitting it for the NG+ NWNM any% XD .
I don't really know if IT IS a mega or a super...I mean I hit the launcher on the wrong side and I think I just landed on it...(hard to say) But the take away I'm getting here is it will not be allowed for NWNM runs which fine by me. Just wanted to share it with ya dudes.

I would have to say that is a mega, or should be categorized under mega. If there is a way to replicate this than that makes everything so much more simple for glitches allowed players, which I, myself, pretty much am. Though the glitch you showed, I haven't been able to do.
