Any% routing so far

This is my routing for the Any% category so far:
- Level 1 - Mt. Eternal: Collect 200$ only with floating bags and break two "?" blocks to get a bracelet in it.
- Level 2 - Marble Plains: Buy the bike in the shop.
- Level 3 - Lake Fathom: Do it.
- Level 4 - The Island of St. Nurari: Do it.
- Level 5 - Namui Lake: Break the Peticopter as soon as you can (faster underwater).
- Level 6 - The Village of Namui: Break one "?" block.
- Level 7 - Scorching Pathway: Do it.
- Level 8 - Mt. Kave: Activate the bracelet, break two "?" blocks and get a bracelet on the first one.
- Level 9 - The Blackwoods: Buy the bike, activate the bracelet, after breaking the bike, break two "?" blocks and get a bracelet on the second one.
- Level 10 - River: Break the boat as soon as you can (faster underwater).
- Level 11 - Taiyo Desert: Break one "?" block. 
- Level 12 - Bingoo Lowland: Buy everything, break the peticopter on the last flame of the level to save time.
- Level 13 - The Radaxian Castle: Activate the bracelet, you need to liberate your brother (hit the two purple blocks on the left in any order) then get the "Personal Letter to the Kingdom of Nibana", go to the end.
- Level 14 - The City of Radaxian: Activate the Magic Capsule B (shield), break a "?" block.
- Level 15 - Toxic Numachi: Do it.
- Level 16 - Swamp: Do it.
- Level 17 - The Castle of Nibana: Do it.
- Level 18 - Nibana Lowlands: Buy all items, activate the bracelet after breaking the bike but before breaking the last "?" block and getting the bracelet on it.
- Level 19 - Janken's Fortress: Do it.
- Level 20 - Janken's Castle: Activate the bracelet, activate the Teleport Powder (invisibility) on the first flame, use the Psychic Wand (floating item) to skip the water section.
- Level 21 - Cragg Lake: Do it.
- Level 22 - Homecoming: Do it.

General informations about the game (will be updated)

Money

Small bag = 10$
Big bag = 20$
Yellow blocks have 50% chance to contain a small bag or a big bag.
Big flowting bags count has 20$ (10$ in the classic game)

"?" blocks

The pattern is: bracelet > ghost > life
It's fix for all the game (instead of the classic).
If you die near one you can collect it again and have the next item of the pattern.
If you game over the pattern is reset.

Stone combinaison for the crown

The combinaison is randomnized at game launch (at least on PC).
If you don't close the game you can complete several times the game with the same combinaison.
Reloading the game on the "Level 17 - The Castle of Nibana" allows you to regenerate really fast the combinaison.
Launch some runs after having one you like ;)

Janken boss fights

These are the combinaison to win the boss fights:
- Gooseka (Rock head): Rock, scissors
- Chokkinna (Scissors head): Scissors, paper
- Parplin (Paper head): Rock, scissors
- Gooseka (Rock head): Paper, paper
- Chokkinna (Scissors head): Rock, rock
- Parplin (Paper head): Rock, scissors
- Janken the Great: Paper, paper
If you miss one, the next jankens for the current boss fight will be different.
Pattern is good again for the next boss even if you miss one on the previous boss (not as the classic).

How to use save states

You can dowload save states in the resources section => https://www.speedrun.com/alex_kidd_in_miracle_world_dx/resources

Save states should be on the steam folder like that =>
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Merge Games\Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX\savedata\Steam

Download all save states and copy pasta the level you want on the folder, get back to the menu and press "LOAD GAME". You don't need to quit the game to change the save state.

The fastest language is Korean

Ok so i tried to figure out what is the fastest language for the game as they are 11 available and this is what i found: You can spam a button to skip textboxes quickly but it's longer if you have more textboxes.

So step 2: Count the textboxes in all languages. Here it is:
- Korean: 128
- Japanese: 149
- Russian: 152
- English: 154
- Portuguese: 157
- Simplified Chinese: 157
- Traditional Chinese: 159
- Spanish: 161
- Italian: 164
- French: 166
- German: 174

These numbers are for the Any% route. They don't count textboxes in shops, but it's always 1 textbox for buying an item and 1-3 for saying hello to the merchant (will not change the fastest language even if we go on all shops).

For 100% we only speak to a few more PNJ to collect items so it will not change the fastest language.

By the way this will not save a lot of time but it's speedrun you know ;)
