turbo controllers shouldn't be allowed, as they can mash the button far faster than you could normally do yourself.

for full runs, how does starting the timer on confirming a new game, and ending it once movement stops after the second phase of the big drill sound?

yeah, starting on selecting 1P game and ending when "Congratulations" appears seems to have been the accepted timing window since the start, so that's also what I've been using myself. Will update the rules later today to better reflect the required settings and timings.

can confirm giant ganon with attack boosts works very well, used it myself before even finding this forum post.

also, for those who don't know yet, it's useful to keep both galeem and dharkon alive as long as possible during the final fight, since every time one of them drops to the floor the other deals massive damage to them. once they're both about to die you'll want to kill dharkon first, since it has the longer death animation.

what exactly is the difference between normal categories and NG+ categories? i can't find any difference between them.

Puzzle mode would be a good idea yes, but I'm not so sure about level 999. (As you've seen from my videos I play rather well and I haven't managed to get even close to it yet.)

it would be a good idea to actually add that into the description then, instead of leaving people guessing what to do.
