Would be awesome to see this category added and potentially have a run done of it. We got Any%, so why not 100%? You can still choose between NSMBU and NSLU or the DX version of both games.

https://www.speedrun.com/multimarioce?h=Pending&x=n2ynge1k To have categories added to leaderboards we have this pending category that you have to submit to first with the category rules if it isn't obvious what exactly the rules have to be (In this case it is so its not needed). Usually for "normal" Multi Mario submissions we'd need 3 runs from different runners for a new category to be listed but NSMB Series is treated differently since its more "outside-ish" and only needs 1 run to get a category. In this case it would only be featured on the Category Extensions board for now.

This is mainly done to avoid empty leaderboards just because someone has an idea. If it is actually a good idea, people would already run it, right?

Oh and we can still do Solo and Relay sub-categories when the time comes for people to actually start running 100%

question, I've been planning to do a 100% run of the series for a while just never got around to it, if we want to submit a run the category do we need a video of the run, I'm assuming yes but thought I'd ask anyways

It is part of the MMG rules. If somebody wants a category to exist, then they have to have a recorded run, and submitted to "pending" on the CE leaderboard.
