SiverSiver Super Mario 3D Land Any% 1:10:00 3DS EUR Link Even though it is a rather overlooked entry in the mario main series, 3D Land still makes for a challenging speedgame, utilizing the tanuki powerup throughout the entire run to perform lots of skips and make for interesting ways to pick up the required star medals to unlock the final level. Playing this game on console instead of PC removes the probability of the game crashing on certain sections, which should be really appreciated on a marathon. 5 Bid wars about the name of Chichu and Gahongas: Chichu: McQueen vs Daisy (Mcqueen because of the memes and Daisy because of the monster's flower) Gahongas: Zed vs Ned (the moster has some similarities with Zed from League of Legends) There is a list of all the names you can select, I think those are the funniest for a Bid War, any other selection is okay by me, I can give a list with all the names available if there's a big interest about this Bid War. SuperViperT302SuperViperT302 Pac 'n Roll Remix Any% 0:27:00 Wii USA Link Released in 2007 (and then rereleased in 2010) as a Wii update to the Nintendo DS game of origin, Pac 'n Roll Remix features our little yellow ball rolling quickly through various levels while collecting Pac-Dots to open gates, a few of which are skippable. With a combination of non-stop fast-paced movement, the use of booting (which can be done on bounce pads and even lava), a broken light-Pac power-up, and convenient level geometry to shorten or even skip various sections of the levels, and little RNG/inconsistent strats throughout the whole run, this game is a must-have for the marathon. 3 (CST) 3:30 PM Friday -> 11 PM Sunday, I'd prefer to not have graveyard shift if possible

I spent so much time routing and running ILs, but I think there are people who can beat all my times if they pick this game up. It's a puzzle platformer, but in such a way that the puzzle makes interesting routing, and the platformer makes the speedrun an interesting execution. 0 I'm thinking of trying the first level blind and one-handed but I'd need to bring my (REALLY BAD) webcam out and... record my face AND keyboard? It might be better to not. It's not really an online marathon kind of incentive. Well, we're able to improvise a route as we complete fishing spots to stack the odds in our favor. After the first island, we can travel to the other four in any order, which grants options in almost every situation and ensures the run is different every time. Five Islands is a run that manages to be a relaxing day on the water, and a thrilling battle against the odds at the same time. 2 Dog vs Cat Bidwar - a classic conundrum. We purchase many animal helpers during the run which can be either dogs or cats. 11 AM through 10 PM EST on the 9th and 10th.

Unlike the other two categories of this game which are timed with RTA and played from a completed file, 100% is the classic speedrun - from a fresh file to the end of the game. By showing off both characters' paths in the run, we'll see each level twice, but thanks to different movement options, some levels will be the same yet different. It's also the only category that gets to show off the Extra Zone!
