So, I literally started running this game 3 days ago and it really does interest me how the RNG can be so cruel in this game. I hope to be fairly active as I wanna chase at least 1st for the PC runs. WR ,unless I can pretty much get used to using Khan, Might be a long short. I play MK casually but was happy to see that a tower run was an option!

The Tower run with blood god Kotal is pretty straight forward and I try to aim for the timer to end on 82 seconds give or take a second but on solid rounds you'll hit 82, it's pretty much the most optimal way but the grind is real because of all the RNG that WR time will be tough, it'll be a matter of keeping your gameplay optimized and getting the perfect RNG to allow for that to go to plan. Sub 7 is definitely possible but sub 7:30 can be a bit of a task at first... getting Sub 8 is pretty easy once you're in the swing of things.

Welcome. I dont run the game anymore but still monitor the page.

WR should be free for PC cuz the in game timer doesnt show the time after shinnok, so we have to use real time and PC has faster loads.
Glad u got into it tho. I Find fighting game runs to be good to get into speedrunning.

Sweet, Thanks for the intel, I'll get my practise on for sub 8 with khan BG. I did manage to beat my PB today but unless I'm shaving like a whole minute, Don't feel like it's submission worthy. That was using Khan too. The only thing for me is, I have terrible thumbs!

Good to see more runners getting into the game. The Blood Kotal strats made the run a whole lot more fun for me in this game. Sub 8 is pretty easy as long as you don't get hit by Xrays. I suggest not using my strat for the corner and only go for uppercuts as using enhanced disc throw takes more rng because you have to start the throw early and you don't know how fast they will get up. Once you get Sub 730 you can start going for it as I believe it's saves somewhere around 1 second each time you get it right.
