Great Bay BK Skip Troubleshooting

I've always wanted to learn MM Any%, and i know most of the beginner friendly strats. One of the few things that is holding me back though is the Great Bay BK skip, in which is extremely difficult for me. I can clip through the ramp fairly consistently, but i cannot get the angle for the recoil flip to the loading zone at all; at least consistently which is what im looking for. are there any notable visual cues or anything i should be looking for? most videos i watched make it seem like its rather arbitrary... Responses would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hai I'm a new runner but I could probably help you out.

Once you clip in, you do 2 side hops to right, and immediately go into the Zora fin mode. Turn around to find the strip on the wall. Make sure the left of that strip (the line between the wall and the strip) is in the middle of the straight line of your Zora head. That's the angle. I'm currently not home, but you can see this back in runs. It's all practice, and this game is a lot of knowing stuff precise a tutorial won't always teach you.

My source for learning this is FFeraz' tutorial which I can highly recommend. It explains this in the fullest

Thanks for the reply. im still giving it some practice. what happens very often is instead of landing in the loading zone for the boss room, i land in an unloaded room. ill try the setup you explained and watch the tutorial you mentioned and see if i can get it down. Thanks again

Do you backflip on big blue/big red and release down?

Once you clip, sidehop twice, zorafin (zora link's attack) towards the bottom right of you, hold the b button and line up zora link's head with the left part of the texture on the wall. if you are in japanese, just take off your mask and last frame recoil flip and you should reach the loading zone. in english, shield turn 180 and last frame recoil flip.
what happens very often is instead of landing in the loading zone for the boss room, i land in an unloaded room.
You are most likely aiming too far to the right. This makes you land in the room next to the first one, the one with yellow and red water pumps that turns the water wheel.

Once you are in position to for the recoilflip if you look at the wall above where you are aiming there should be a strip on the wall with yellow dots. Use the top arrow portion of the clock at the bottom of the screen and line that up with the very left side of the strip on wall.

As Riekelt said this is covered in the Any% Tutorial made by FFerraz, here is a link to this portion of it where he show it.
