I was thinking about how some categories don't exist. You see itemless categories for 32 tracks, but there arent any for the 16 track runs. I think a nitro no items and a retro no items should be a category along with the no skip variations of those two. It would add more runs as well as get rid of that rng that kills so many runs in nitros and retros. Let me know your opinions, but I think no item variations of the 16 track runs should exist.

I agree with this 100%. Implementing subcategories could easily allow this, and would make the leaderboards look a lot cleaner overall. This could also allow for there to be itemless categories for the individual cups, which would be pretty nice to have. The fact that anyone would rather run with the items on amazes me, it's 100% RNG. Might as well have the option not to.

I know MKW is a bigger game than MK64, but I'd love to see a 100% run just like MK64.

A bit back I did a segmented 100% run that took 11 hours, 7 min. (3 Stars on Every Cup, Every CC, Unlock all Tracks, Characters, bikes/karts)

I've been thinking the same thing for a long time. I took another break but I'd come back much sooner if they were added.

Maybe Ill do a non-segmented 100% run eventually just to show how reasonable it is
