I wanna speedrun baby park by itself but I can't I think it would be better for single race speedruns
I mean, Nintendo does kind of track this on their own. In time trials you can upload your best time for a single track. You can even race against the current fastest ghost if you want. It does provide a few mushrooms to do it, maybe that is a little different than our speed runs but It seems Time Trials within the game is what you might be looking for.
Cus my internet doesn't work with nintendo consoles and it's a pain in the neck to upload it
Did you try uploading time trials or did you give up because online play didn't work? My device won't play online matches but will still upload and download time trials, so you may just have the same problem.
Last time I used the Mario Kart Players Page more than a year ago I'm pretty sure I submitted my times via an email which was filled in in a form-like fashion similar to what Speedrun.com does, so there shouldn't be any major difference between sites, nor a Switch internet connection should be required to submit anything there. Simply write down your times into their form and be ready to have some kind of proof in case site mods ask for it.
But yeah, there's little point having individual track times here when the Player's Page exist. IMO it's easier to head over that site if you want to compete for those. :P
