Has anyone considered reaching out to SE to see if they'd like a piece of the action for these speedrun charity events? They've had private instances at Fanfest before, so maybe they can throw together a new mid-high end trial for launch at the event where you could invite 2-4 major speedrun teams to do blind as a race. Just spitballing here, but stuff like that would build hype not just for the game, but speedrunning as well.

Hello! Really enjoying running this game, but I have a question about the rules for the Synced Solo category.

I notice a number of verified runs of this category have a full party. Can I get some clarification as to the requirements for this? Rules as written we're not supposed to have party members, however runs are being submitted and approved by mods that have party members and do not show any in game timer. I'd love to submit runs, but I need to know what I'm looking at.

Perhaps segmented runs? This could allow people to speedrun in smaller chunks, given the length of this game, but removes the need for arbitrary stop/start points.

Just starting out in this game (haven't played it in years), and I had a few questions about the start of the WR run.
1) Why use the default name instead of say "a"? With the number of times the MC's name is said, how much time can be shaved off with the quicker text pop as a result?
2) Why the Vaccine starter specifically as opposed to Data or Virus? Is there a specific advantage in speedrunning using it?
3) You mention RNG manipulation using savestates, can you expand on that? What applications could it have on an actual run where savestates are banned?
4) In the third mission, you bypass the floor gate and make a beeline for ToyAgumon to trade. How important to the run is SnowAgumon?

I believe RTA is best. On my previous run, there was a 40 minute discrepancy between the IGT on the battle report and the actual time (no deaths mind you, just a slow external hard drive).

Any reason why it's kicking back my attempt to submit a run? It keeps saying the game hasn't been released, even though it has and I just did a run on the current patch?

Would it be possible to post a current ruleset to the leaderboard? I'd like to start practicing/streaming runs, but I need to know what exactly I'm looking for. I'm assuming for now that time starts upon confirming difficulty options, and ends upon beam strike on Xehanort (Loss of control), and that I need to use Wsplit or similar for time, rather than using the battle report?
