Midwest Speedfest 2019 is an on-site marathon taking place August 23-25 at 2D Con. The convention will be at the Hyatt Regency, with its address being Hyatt Regency Minneapolis 1300 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis, MN 55403.

The charity the marathon will be fundraising for is AbleGamers. AbleGamers provides controllers for people with a variety of disabilities. To learn more about them, visit their website here: https://ablegamers.org/

Run submissions open February 25, and go until July 20 at 11:59pm. Three things to note if you plan on submitting. 1. If you plan on submitting as an on-site runner, you will need to register for the convention here: https://www.2dcon.net/product/2019registration/ 2. The marathon will be a 24 hour one, so make sure you note that for you availability. 3. You will need to bring everything you need to do the run. Please bring your console, game, AV cables, and controller. We will provide a CRT / Monitor to play on and capture equipment.
