After a week of streams and only getting to one second behind, it takes a nice quiet offline run to actually get it done. Played on PSTV with Turbo enabled, this is the new world record for MGS1 Console Any% Very Easy.

The only reason I've obtained this is because the previous record and second place were recorded before the Boba Skip was discovered. Until now, no one's gone back to get this record. This will be easily beaten, my Liquid fight continues to be horrendously bad, and there are a few other areas that could be tidied up.

This run is part of the Road to the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Pentalogy Series, in which I prepare to speedrun every game in the Master Collection in one sitting. Over the next few weeks, I'm practising each game, with some mini multi-runs along the way. All of this is being done to fundraise for City of Sanctuary UK, a charity aimed at promoting the UK as a safe and welcoming country for displaced people, no matter their background.
